Intellectual Output 5: Final Conference Proceedings

The final CITY MINDED conference organised in Pula, Croatia, on the 22^nd November 2022, is the culmination of the project activities and the main dissemination event of the project. With the title “Pathways towards green transition of European urban areas”, the conference was divided into three main sessions: teaching decarbonisation – methodologies and experiences from CITY MINDED, approaches to urban sustainability and multi-level perspectives and experiences of urban decarbonisation.

The aim of the conference was to present project outputs, together with examples of good practices and partners and stakeholder’s expertise in the fields focused on the decarbonisation and green transition of the urban areas. The Final Conference Proceedings publication collect abstracts of all the papers that were presented during the conference organised by IRENA.

In addition to the proceedings, the Department of Architecture of Roma Tre University has edited and published a monographic issue of NU3 – le Note di U3 dedicated to CITY MINDED, entitled ‘Teaching Decarbonisation. Methodologies and experiences from CITY MINDED’. The publication aims to increase dissemination opportunities of project results and contribute to the academic debate on urban sustainability, providing suggestions and ideas to improve its teaching in Higher Education Institutes.
